# Why is my account under review?

> Understand why your account might be under review and what happens next

Your account may be under review for the following reasons:

* Information mismatch or missing details
* Similar information found on another account
* Additional identity checks required for **Know Your Customer (KYC)** or **anti-money-laundering (AML)** compliance

If your account is approved, it activates automatically. You'll see the result in the app, and if notifications are on, we'll send you a push notification when you're approved.
