# Trading Limits

> Understand Polymarket US trading limits

In the app and on the web, a single market buy is limited to \$1,000,000, and combos have their own maximum stake. Orders only fill against **matching buy or sell orders** on the order book.

Large orders may result in partial fills or fill at different prices if there are not enough matching orders at one level. Before placing a large order, review the order book to see available prices and sizes.
